Neighborhood of the Heart
Following the 1992 Los Angeles riots — in 1993, Carol Worthey felt she must contribute something to help heal the hard feelings, tensions and general unrest people in Los Angeles were experiencing. Carol responded with a new work, "Neighborhood of the Heart" with verses in three languages: English, Spanish and Korean in the (then very popular) Hip-Hop style.
The original music version was produced by Randall Michael Tobin and sung by vocalist Valerie Fahren . In early 1994, a music-video was produced and distributed by Jean Dale performed by Kids On Stage for a Better World .
Until recently, Carol Worthey had forgotten this video existed! Here (thanks to Jean Dale ) we are proud to present that video in full.
